GREAT ALUMINUM REPLACEMENT HEAD FOR STOCK CAST IRON The best, most cost effective choice for the performance minded Chrysler enthusiast just got better. It now features a new more efficient heart shaped chamber. Convert your stock iron head to the 440-SR and your intake, rockershafts, rocker arms, valve covers, pistons (either dome or flat top) will work. The 440-SR is a true bolt on 60-75 HP in stock form (must use a 440-10 external rocker oil kit). Even a fully ported stock iron head is not as good as a stock 440-SR. The uses range from a 383 cid daily street driver to a 670 HP 500 cid on pump gas (fully ported). The 440-SR also makes a perfect power upgrade replacement head for bracket cars. Intake port volume is 265cc as cast and 295cc with CNC which flows 355 cfm. 2.190 x 1.810 valve are used while the 1.550 assembly springs are good for hydraulic, solid and roller cams up to .650 cid. (Must Supply Cam Specs When Ordering). Options are available. Chambers are 75cc on as cast and 78cc with CNC. The exhaust has stock bolt pattern but has been raised. The 440-H1-SRK is a kit with 440-H1-SRAS head assemblies, push rods, 440-10 external Oil Kit & New Head Bolts. |
