THE ULTIMATE WEDGE HEADS FOR 572 cid ENGINES Big engines of 528 cid to 605 cid require superior air flow when 900 to 1,000 horsepower is the goal. The 572-13 head with 13 deg valve angle is designed for a 4.500 bore with the valves moved on center allowing the exhaust valve to be moved and a larger diameter intake valve to be utilized. With a 2.300 valve the 385cc CNC port flows 410cfm. A Titanuium 2.350 valve is optional. Machined for Jesel rockers only and must use 440-8S spray bar valve covers. Assembled heads come with 1.625 dia springs for .800 lift roller cams (Must Furnish Cam Specs When Ordering). Chambers are 79cc. Cams / Lifters /Timing Sets
On all complete assembly packages, it is very possible that the valve springs are not correct for your camshaft. All valve springs should be checked for compatibility to your camshaft. Severe wear of valve train components and severe engine damage could result from failure to do this. Check spring requirements before heads are installed on the engine. If in doubt please contact your camshaft manufacturer or USA Performance Parts. We do carry optional springs for all of your needs.
