THE ULTIMATE WEDGE HEADS FOR 600 cid ENGINES Big engines of 605 cid to 6655 cid require superior air flow when 1,000 horsepower is the goal. The 600-13 head with 13 deg valve angle is designed for a 4.563 bore with the valves moved on center allowing the exhaust valve to be moved and a larger diameter intake valve to be utilized. With a 2.400 valve the 425cc CNC port flows 470cfm. A Titanuium 2.450 valve is optional. Machined for Jesel rockers only and must use 440-8S spray bar valve covers. Assembled heads come with 1.625 dia springs for .850 lift roller cams (Must Furnish Cam Specs When Ordering). Chambers are 70cc. Use the Indy Max aluminum block with 4.840 bore space for clearance for the 2.400 valves. Recommend the raised cam with 45 degree angle. On all complete assembly packages, it is very possible that the valve springs are not correct for your camshaft. All valve springs should be checked for compatibility to your camshaft. Severe wear of valve train components and severe engine damage could result from failure to do this. Check spring requirements before heads are installed on the engine. If in doubt please contact your camshaft manufacturer or USA Performance Parts. We do carry optional springs for all of your needs.
