Brodix RR BB-O Oval Port Cylinder Head. This is a stock 26 degree valve angle, 270cc oval port that bolts directly in place of stock cast iron heads allowing the reuse of the intake manifold and pistons. The most important improvement is that the exhaust ports are in the stock location eliminating header or manifold interference. The Race Rite oval port is the answer for less hassle during installation.
It works very well on 396-454 cu. in. engines in heavy cars or trucks. The 110cc chamber version will help keep compression up on the 396-427 cu. in. engines. Assemblies come with a 1.550 diameter dual spring for hydraulic roller cams. (Upgraded springs & CNC chambers are available) All Bare Heads from Brodix DO NOT have valve jobs done or guides honed. |
Cams / Lifters /Timing Sets
On all complete assembly packages, it is very possible that the valve springs are not correct for your camshaft. All valve springs should be checked for compatibility to your camshaft. Severe wear of valve train components and severe engine damage could result from failure to do this. Check spring requirements before heads are installed on the engine. If in doubt please contact your camshaft manufacturer or USA Performance Parts. We do carry optional springs for all of your needs.
