Specifically designed for street performance, bracket racing, 454 - 500 cid. The oval port head is a Torque Monster and works great in heavy cars or trucks. This head actually outflows the larger Pro1 heads up to .500 in valve lift but still outflows competitors heads at higher valve lifts. On all complete assembly packages, it is very possible that the valve springs are not correct for your camshaft. All valve springs should be checked for compatibility to your camshaft. Severe wear of valve train components and severe engine damage could result from failure to do this. Check spring requirements before heads are installed on the engine. If in doubt please contact your camshaft manufacturer or USA Performance Parts. We do carry optional springs for all of your needs.
