CALL for "UNADVERTISED DISCOUNTED SPECIALS" The Dart 18 Degree Big Chief head is a spread port, raised intake style head. This was designed as a Pro Stock head and now is used by all types of racing from big cid bracket racers to marine & oval track racing. These heads require there own intake manifold, rocker arms, valve covers and pistons.
They are available with as cast ports with no valve job or bowl/chamber blending, Super Mod (SMA) ported with CNC chambers, bowls blended and ports matched or Full CNC ported with CNC ported intake ports, exhaust ports and chambers. Assemblies have 2.400 x 1.900 stainless steel valves, 1.625 dual springs for .800 lift and titanium retainers. They are also available with titanium valves and triple springs for .900 max lift. Chambers are machined for either 4.500 or 4.600 dia cylinder bores.

Cams / Lifters /Timing Sets
On all complete assembly packages, it is very possible that the valve springs are not correct for your camshaft. All valve springs should be checked for compatibility to your camshaft. Severe wear of valve train components and severe engine damage could result from failure to do this. Check spring requirements before heads are installed on the engine. If in doubt please contact your camshaft manufacturer or USA Performance Parts. We do carry optional springs for all of your needs.
