CALL for "UNADVERTISED DISCOUNTED SPECIALS" The Dart 14 Degree Big Chief head is the preferred version for blown alcohol and nitrous engines. These spread port, raised intake style heads are available in several versions. The 3815 programs are for bore sizes as small as 4.375 and 2.400 valves with a solid casting also available. The 384 program is designed for bores of 4.500 and larger and accomodate valves up to 2.470 diameter. These heads require there own intake manifold, rocker arms, valve covers and pistons.
The Full CNC ported heads have efficient oval ports of 433cc and 86cc chambers and flow over 490 cfm at .900 lift. Assemblies have 2.470 x 1.800 titanium valves with 55 degree seats, 1.650 triple springs for .900 lift and titanium retainers. Chambers are machined for 4.600 dia cylinder bores.

On all complete assembly packages, it is very possible that the valve springs are not correct for your camshaft. All valve springs should be checked for compatibility to your camshaft. Severe wear of valve train components and severe engine damage could result from failure to do this. Check spring requirements before heads are installed on the engine. If in doubt please contact your camshaft manufacturer or USA Performance Parts. We do carry optional springs for all of your needs.
