The Dart 11 Degree Big Chief head is the preferred version for normally aspirated engines. These spread port, raised intake style heads are the ultimate Big Block Chevy head and the design came right out of Dart's Pro Stock program. These heads require there own intake manifold, rocker arms, valve covers and pistons.
The Full CNC ported heads have Pro Stock Style efficient oval ports of 512cc and 70cc chambers and flow over 520 cfm at 1.000 lift. Assemblies have 2.470 x 1.800 titanium valves with 55 degree seats, 1.650 triple springs for .900 lift and titanium retainers. Chambers are machined for 4.600 dia cylinder bores. MBE has CNC ported heads that are a step above the standard ported heads offered by everyone else. These are for racers that only care about winning and want the very best available and are willing to pay for real value. MBE produces the Big Chief heads with the same care and meticulous detail of it's Pro Stock and Pro Mod heads.

On all complete assembly packages, it is very possible that the valve springs are not correct for your camshaft. All valve springs should be checked for compatibility to your camshaft. Severe wear of valve train components and severe engine damage could result from failure to do this. Check spring requirements before heads are installed on the engine. If in doubt please contact your camshaft manufacturer or USA Performance Parts. We do carry optional springs for all of your needs.
