ATTENTION: Valve Spring Warning for All Packages

On all complete assembly packages, it is very possible that the valve springs are not correct for your camshaft. All valve springs should be checked for compatibility to your camshaft. Severe wear of valve train components and severe engine damage could result from failure to do this. Check spring requirements before heads are installed on the engine. If in doubt please contact your camshaft manufacturer or USA Performance Parts. We do carry optional springs for all of your needs.

Darts new PRO2 380cc heads are the next evolution of our Big-Block Chevy line up. As engine displacements continually get bigger, we saw the need for a larger conventional-style cylinder head to extract the maximum performance from these huge motors.
The PRO2 cylinder heads were designed to make competative engine building easier and less expensive by incorporating the rugged features of our famous Race Series casting into a ready to use, professional quality competition cylinder head. Every intake port, every exhaust runner, every valve bowl, and every combustion chamber is 100% digitally CNC machined for the ultimate in consistency.

The 380cc port volume is perfect for Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, Quick 16 and any other "Go Fast" eliminators. This head delivers all the airflow that a Big Inch Big Block can handle in a conventional siamese port configuration.

The new PRO 2 head's 380cc intake runners are paired with 144cc exhaust ports. Intake valves are 2.300 inches, and the exhausts measure 1.880 inches in diameter. Brass head bolt tubes are inserted between adjacent intake runners to allow the ports to be widened. The high-velocity raised exhaust ports are modeled on our own Pro Stock heads using airflow concepts that dramatically improve cylinder scavenging and the engine's ability to accelerate quickly. Multi-angle intake valve seats direct the air-fuel mixture into the chamber like an airfoil, reducing turbulence and preventing fuel separation. Fully radiused exhaust seats provide the smoothest possible transition into the ports for hot exhaust gases. Dart's new CNC-machined PRO 2 aluminum cylinder heads with 380cc intake ports are just what the doctor ordered for large displacement big-block Chevrolet racing engines
