Callies CompStar LS1/LS6 Rotating Assemblies feature CompStar 4130 forged 4.00 stroke cranks, Forged 4130 H-beam rods, Mahle forged pistons offers compression ratios, with 64cc chambers of 10.95-1 for normally aspirated engines. Callies fully machines and heat treats CompStar crankshafts for the intended high output installations.
Made from 4340 steel that is deep nitrided for strength and wear ability. CompStar LSX crankshafts are counterweighted for enhanced bearing load distribution, which allows these shafts to withstand both high boost and high RPM applications and assemblies are precision balanced. Machined with large radii, gun drilled mains and fully lightened rod journals, the CompStar LSX crankshaft is truly built for performance.
All CompStar H-beam rods are forged from 4130 steel and come standard with ARP2000 rod bolts for increased torque capacity.
