World Products has made improvements to virtually every area of the new Merlin IV block with the goal of producing the most technologically advanced and best performing iron BBC block available today! New features include thicker main webs for increased strength and thicker cylinder walls which are nominally .310" @ 4.600" bore, .290 @ 4.625 bore. INCLUDES BLOCK KIT & CAM BEARINGS
- Available in 4.245, 4.495 and 4.595 bores ready to hone to 4.250, 4.500 and 4.600

- 4-bolt mains on all 5, center 3 splayed
- 1/2 in ARP main bolts
- Uses standard BBC oil filter
- Block is set up for stock style internal wet sump pump but can be converted for dry sump
- Standard cam location and diameter
- 55mm cam bore is available with .904 lifter bores
- Enough material to machine for 60mm babbit cam bearings
- Added material around lifter bores for up to .937 keyed lifter bushings
