The +.050 deck height allows .050 in more ring lands on the piston, great for big Nitrous, Supercharged applications. This Merlin IV block is machined for 55mm babbit cam bearings and .904 lifters for improved valvetrain control. World Products has made improvements to virtually every area of the new Merlin IV block with the goal of producing the most technologically advanced and best performing iron BBC block available today! New features include thicker main webs for increased strength and thicker cylinder walls which are nominally .310" @ 4.600" bore, .290 @ 4.625 bore. INCLUDES BLOCK KIT
